Ytel is currently looking for a VP of Sales who can not only lead our continued growth, but one who can build out a pipeline and team capable of taking us to a whole new level. An experienced leader who understands process, and is capable of implementing strategy. Most importantly, we need someone with a passion for technology, who gets excited about the idea of leaving their fingerprints on change!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Creating, tracking and managing sales goals, ensuring continued growth
  • Developing, implementing, and executing short-term and long-term sales strategies for all products and services
  • Participating in the company forecasting, quarterly and annually
  • Guiding the sales team to ensure Ytel achieves its monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Building and managing a channel sales team, as well as a channel sales program from the ground up
  • Traveling with sales team leaders, and sales personnel on key sales appointments
  • Assisting in the recruitment, training, and management of high-performing sales teams
  • Coordinating with the marketing department on product/service launches, as well as marketing campaigns, to be sure they are set up for success
  • Participating heavily in trade shows and speaking engagements, while managing the team's performance at trade shows.
  • Working with the Product Management team to evaluate new products/services development
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on the market and what technologies are on the forefront
  • Working side by side with our CEO, providing guidance and support needed to grow the company
  • Continuing to evolve your role within the company and finding other ways to contribute

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 7+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Track record of success in growing revenue
  • Background in telecom or cloud software
  • Track record of training, motivating and leading a successful sales team
  • Previous experience utilizing a CRM system (Salesforce/HubSpot experience would be ideal)
  • Proven ability to lead sales strategy on multiple products at a time
  • Experience building, recruiting and managing a sales channel
  • Undeniable ability to multi-tasking and handle a fast-paced, growing environment
